This was one of the scenery drawings that I did quite some time ago. The inspiration came from the time when I was really down. Whenever I feel sad, I hope to be by the sea. I hope to look at the blue sea and calm waters with the pebbles and sand around. I will want to find some time alone...

The different sizes of pebbles stacked staggered, with contrasting shadows to emphasize the angle of the light. The sea bleached in turquoise green instead of blue to differentiate the horizon between the sky and sea.
